This genus of shrimp thrived during the Jurassic Period (200 to 145 million years ago). This specimen was found in the Solnhofen Limestone of Germany. This formation has provided scientists with some of the most crucial specimens of our time, including Archaeopteryx, the oldest known species of bird. This was a scientific breakthrough for linking modern-day birds to dinosaurs. This specimen shows great details when observing the legs, antennae, and abdomen.
