This tooth is a prime example of the specimens found off the coast of North Carolina. NC teeth often possess many hues of blue and/or gray. They also have been smoothed out through years of oceanic movements. This tooth still has the majority of its root and blade but is missing strips of enamel. During the preparation stage, this tooth was polished to help stabilize and give it a more appealing look.
