Sunstone is classified as a plagioclase feldspar that showcases beautiful speckles of color. These flashes of colors are caused by light entering the surface of the mineral, reflecting off microscopic inclusions of hematite, pyrite, and occasionally copper, very similar to aventurine. This is known as "aventurescence"
Sunstone instills good nature and heightens intuition. It helps through the dissipation of fearfulness while alleviating stress.
