Carnelian is a variety of chalcedony. Its red/orange color is caused by iron impurities found in the mineral. The use of carnelian can be traced back to the Neolithic era, over 4000 years ago. Some of these uses include beads, decorative arts, and Roman seals.

Carnelian is the stone of many talents. It is often referred to as the stone of the artist. Carnelian is the go-to mineral for the promotion of success, courage, and energy.

Chemical Formula: SiO₂

Commonly found in Peru, Brazil, India, Russia, and Germany.

Citrine is a variety of quartz. It gets its name from the Latin word "citron". The color of citrine is not fully understood. Some citrine is colored from aluminum-based centers and irradiation. This is similar to smoky quartz. More common, commercial-grade citrine is often amethyst that has been heated to extreme temperatures, essentially baking it to the proper color. This is citrine by scientific standards.

Citrine is known as the light maker. It boosts joy, optimism, and success on all levels, especially business-related goals. It also acts as a protective spiritual cleanser.
