Charoite is considered a rare silicate mineral. It was first described in 1978 and was named after the Chara River in Russia. Although it may have been discovered in the 1940s, but remained unknown to the vast majority of the world. This mineral has a wide range of purple hues from translucent lavender to deep violets. The only location of this mineral is Russia.

Charoite is used for transmuting negative energies into positive, healing energies. It opens the heart to stimulate unconditional love.
