Hemimorphite is a zinc base silicate mineral, up to 54% zinc, that often forms tabular crystals. However, it can also grow in botryoidal patterns. Some common colors seen are clear, white, blue, yellow, and brown. Its name comes from the word "hemimorphic", referring to its crystals having various terminations. This mineral was first described in 1853 but was used in ancient times to help ward off negativity, hatred, and even poison.

Hemimorphite is known for helping detach from ego. It brings spiritual growth. Blue hemimorphite specializes in bringing feelings of joy and happiness. It enhances communicative abilities, allowing you to bring forward your true feelings.
