Kambaba Jasper, often confused with nebula stone and not scientifically a jasper, is fossilized stromatolite algae. Stromatolites are just clumps of fossilized algae that can date as far back as 3 billion years ago. One of the main fossil components in kambaba jasper is cyanobacteria. These little fellas are thought to be responsible for helping create the first oxygen-rich atmosphere on Earth.
