Pink Opal does not show any play of color as seen in traditional opals but they do contain lovely patterns of white running throughout them. This stone contains palygorskite and chalcedony. Palygorskite is a phyllosilicate that resembles opal, while chalcedony is a microcrystalline quartz mineral. Peru is one of the world's largest producers of pink opal.
Pink Opal carries very soothing and healing energy alongside it. This is a great stone for those who tend to be extra sensitive. It increases your sense of compassion and empathy while releasing you from fear and worry.
