Saussurite is considered a rare pseudomorph of feldspar that contains various other minerals. Some of these include zoisite, epidote, albite, and other minerals rich in sodium. It was first discovered in the late 1700s by geologist Horace Benedict de Saussure. It was actually considered a variation of jade until 1806 when it was analyzed further to determine it was actually a variety of feldspar. 

Saussurite is a stone of transformation, specifically targeting one's emotional needs and wants. Working with this mineral will make you begin thinking with your heart as opposed to with your head. Saussurite helps your judgment in deciding what is actually best for you under the current circumstances. 

Chemical Formula: Ca₂Al₃Si₃O₁₃

Commonly found in Australia, China, India, and Russia.
