Ulexite, also known famously as "TV Stone" forms in compact veins and exhibit an optical effect caused by its fibers. These specimens are able to transmit light from one surface to another as their composition creates a parallel formation, allowing any image below to be seen on the top. This stone is often mistaken as selenite (satin spar) for its physical similarities.
