Aragonite is a very common mineral, similar to calcite. It actually possesses the same chemical formula as calcite but has a different crystal structure (orthorhombic). This calcium carbonate mineral is almost exclusively found in areas of the Earth's surface with low temperatures. An example is its formation of cave stalactites. It serves a very important role in the shells of many marine animals.
Yellow Aragonite is often referred to as the amplifier. when paired with other stones, it stimulates or increases the properties of other stones, specifically those pertaining to health and happiness. This stone is said to crush any self-doubt.
